About the tools

Through our Brazilian laboratory of neuroscience and architecture (NEUROARQ® LAB), we have been dedicated to developing proprietary tools based on neuroscience and psychology to assist professionals in the project areas to be more assertive in their activities in different moments and contexts. The development of these tools takes place within a network of professionals working in various fields, expanding our fundamental pillar of MULTIDISCIPLINARITY.

The use of the TOOLS is possible through the NEUROARQ® Experience Course, which trains students in their application and usage. At the end of the training, the student will receive a license for a 2-year usage period and access to the digital application platform.

Tool recommended for architects, designers, and project developers who wish to include studies on human behavior (neuroscience, psychology, among others) in their projects, as well as develop their sensitivity and self-perception of environments. As proposed in the NEUROARQ® Academy methodology, to design more human environments that elicit positive responses from our clients, we must first perceive in ourselves how the environments we frequent impact us. What do you feel in the environment you are in right now? And yesterday, or the day before, where were you? How were your experiences in those places? Often, we go through our routines on autopilot and don’t even notice how the environments are affecting us, whether through a new experience or a trigger that can make us relive moments through our memories. It was from this challenge, reported by many of our students and clients, that we developed a tool to help us consciously awaken to environments: SELF-PERCEPTION SCALE OF ENVIRONMENTS (EAPA®).

Tool recommended for architects, designers, and project developers who wish to include studies on human behavior (neuroscience, psychology, among others) in their projects through the recognition and analysis of environmental memories. Based on the multidisciplinary studies developed at NEUROARQ® Academy and scientific evidence analysis, it is clear that part of how people respond to external stimuli is influenced by their memories and experiences throughout life. That’s why we developed this tool: MEMORABLE ENVIRONMENT SCALE (EAMME®), which aims to assist in the process of identifying memories and potential environmental influence experienced, relating them to the recall of environmental variable characteristics. After identifying environmental patterns, the tool also assists in creating strategies for designing new memorable environments.
